Professor Ma Sai began with the “Chinese aesthetics” showcased by

Academy of Arts & Design, Tsinghua University during the international

Olympic Games, exploring pathways for integrating art and sports.

Through its design practices, the Academy has interpreted the uniquely

Chinese concept of beauty and core values. It is also committed to

creatively reinterpreting them while integrating them into global cultural

exchange, thereby contributing to the harmonious development of human

society.

"We hope to present and share the beauty of China more effectively

through artistic expression. We also look forward to engaging in deeper

exchanges with more international institutions in the Olympic sphere,

strengthening friendships and promoting cultural exchange through art

and design."


Professor Zou Feng reflected on disciplinary development by tracing the

history of Beijing University of Technology's College of Art and Design. He

advocated drawing wisdom from cultural heritage, integrating tradition

with contemporary technology, and fostering a distinctive disciplinary

identity to enhance the uniqueness and social impact of art education.

"For a university to stand out within a diverse educational ecosystem, it

must cultivate distinctive features and a marked sense of differentiation. If

the development of disciplines becomes homogenized — making visits to

different institutions feel like journeys through indistinguishable cities,

where the unique wisdom and innovations of each place can no longer be

experienced — that would truly be a regrettable outcome."


马赛教授以清华大学美术学院在国际奥林匹克运动盛会中所展现的“中国风貌”为切入点,探讨了艺术与体育相结合的途径。清华大学美术学院以设计阐释了中国特色的“美”与核心价值观,并致力于创新性地演绎与全球文化交流的融合,推动人类社会的和谐发展。

“我们希望通过艺术的方式,能够更好地把中国的美展现出来,传播出来。希望能够与更多的国际院校在奥林匹克领域开展更多交流,用艺术设计更好地增进彼此的友谊,促进文化的交流。”

邹锋教授以北京工业大学艺术设计学院的发展历史展开了对于学科建设的思考,主张从文化传承中汲取智慧,将传统与当代科技融合,打造差异化的学科特色,以实现艺术教育的独特性和社会影响力。

"一所大学若要在一个多元化的教育体系中彰显其独特性,必须发展出与众不同的特色和显著的差异性。假如各学科的发展趋于同质化,使得访问不同学府如同游历于相似的城市,无法领略到各地独特的智慧与创新,这将是一件令人深感遗憾的事。"

Professor Wei Jie, from the perspective of design studies, shared insights

into the cognitive commonalities, material typologies, and life patterns

inherent in traditional Chinese craftsmanship. From the multi-dimensional

perspective of culture, technology and aesthetics, she revealed the deep

connection between design and life, thereby inspiring innovation in

contemporary design practice.


"Each discipline has its own origin, and we must consider how its

development and inheritance should unfold. How can we achieve a

distinctive and differentiated approach to talent cultivation? Taking

design as the central axis, we can continuously blur the boundaries

between disciplines, allowing aesthetic capability, judgment, and

technological innovation to inform our reflections on contemporary

lifestyles and offer us greater inspiration."




魏洁教授透过设计学的视角,分享了中国传统造物的认知共性、物态谱系与生活图式,从文化、技术、审美多维视角揭示设计与生活深层关联,激发现代设计创新。

“各个专业都有它的源头,它的发展、传承应该是什么样,我们怎么样能做到一个特色化和差异化的人才培养..以设计为轴线,可以不断消解各个学科的边界,在审美力、判断力包括技术创新等方面介入我们对当下生活方式的思考、带给我们更多启示。"

Professor Suzan Al-Yahya shared the innovative approaches adopted by the

Royal Institute of Traditional Arts in Saudi Arabia to preserve and transmit

cultural heritage, as well as its efforts to achieve the goals in Saudi Vision

2030. She emphasized that future art and design education should

integrate traditional craftsmanship with modern technologies, fostering

creative talent and global collaboration. In doing so, it can help enhance

the soft power of various countries and promote international dialogue and

future development in art and design education.




苏珊·阿尔叶海亚教授分享了沙特阿拉伯皇家传统艺术学院通过创新实践保护和传承文化遗产的路径以及为实现“2030愿景”的目标所付出的努力,指出未来艺术与设计教育应融合传统工艺与现代技术,培养创意人才与全球协作力,从而激发各国文化软实力,推动艺术与设计教育的国际对话与未来发展。
